With an immersive background in the worlds of fashion, theater production, and set design, Tamarra brings to life the essence and soul of a space and truly believes that a home should be a reflection of its occupants, rather than filled with the latest fleeting trends in home decor.

Lead Designer and Principal at Union of Art Interiors, Tamarra Younis has an eclectic and refined eye for interiors, influenced by her love of vintage finds and an effortlessly collected sense of style.
Tamarra has lived her life at the cultural crossroads of the Middle East, Europe, and Asia and was raised between London, Dubai, Lebanon, and New York City.

As a young child, her weekends were filled with hunting for treasures with her antiques-loving mother and getting lost in shops, souks, and marketplaces around the world. These childhood experiences had a profound impact on shaping her career as a designer and empowering her eye for style.
Today, she is one of the most sought-after designers in Los Angeles, known for sourcing treasures from all over the world and mixing high-end modern pieces with antiques. Tamarra creates spaces that are elegantly styled, comfortable, and tell a story. When designing spaces for clients, Tamarra thinks about how a person will look and feel in their home - from the lighting, to the materials, flooring, accessories, art selection, furnishings, and sense of flow. By utilizing her distinctive eye for excellence and fundamental design knowledge Tamarra Younis and the Union of Art team create inspired interiors that reflect the unique visions of their clients.
Katelyn Risinger
Associate Designer
Where there's a yin there's a yang, and Katelyn's complementary skill set makes her and Tamarra the perfect design duo. Originally from Austin, Texas, Katelyn grew up scouring vintage markets for art, furniture, and vinyl records, and has always loved expressing her creativity through design and music. As Union of Art Interiors’ Associate Designer and Studio Manager, she brings a fresh perspective with a modern yet edgy take on design.

From keeping the company on schedule, ordering furnishings and materials, to sourcing Italian Murano glass, selecting contemporary art, or handpicking vintage treasures for a client, Katelyn and Tamarra work hand in hand to ensure that each project is a success and is a true reflection of their client's unique personality.
She loves spaces that feel expressive, warm, and unique, and her signature decorating move is to blend eclectic materials with one-of-a-kind vintage finds. Katelyn is an avid gardener and believes that plants bring great energy to a space, and are the key to making a house feel like a home.
